Donald R. Davidson 90, of Sykesville, MD formerly of Salem, IL passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Dove House.
Beloved spouse of Joan (Warner) Davidson.
He was born September 3, 1925 in Salem, IL the son of the late Jessie (Cattell) Davidson & the late Louie Davidson.
Mr. Davidson was retired from the US Dept. of Agriculture headquarters in Washington, DC. He was a United States Army Veteran 2nd Lt.
Devoted Father of Cyndi Davidson of Fairmont, Wv and Daniel & Niki Davidson of Montgomery, Al. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Pre-ceded in death by sister Doris Semingson & brother-in-law Marshall Semingson.
The Family will receive friends on Saturday July 16, 2016 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) from 10 am to 11 am at which time a funeral service will begin.
Interment at Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church cemetery.
