Donald Kroll

Donald William Kroll passed away peacefully on 16 April 2024, after a long illness at his daughter’s home in Cooksville, MD. He was 87 years old. Don was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Barbara (Dennis) Kroll; and his parents John William Kroll and Katherine Josephine (Fankhanel) Kroll of Relay, MD. Don spent the last seven years of his life being pampered and living under the loving care of his daughter Terri, husband Rob, and grandson Scott. His granddaughter Brittany (husband Ben) and great-granddaughter Abigail of Virginia would often Facetime or stop by to see Poppie. He absolutely adored his only great granddaughter and would light up like a Christmas Tree when he saw his little Abby and would always comment about how fast she is growing. Don leaves behind his identical twin brother, John (Ron) Kroll of Virginia. He also has a son Brian, (wife Kathy) and grandchildren Megan and Kevin of GA; and a daughter Karen (husband Nick) and grandchildren Josh and Alyssa of PA.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 10-11 AM with funeral service starting at 11 Am at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School).
Interment at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
