Donna Lee Thomas, 75 of Mt. Airy, MD formerly of Baltimore. Went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2016.
She was the loving wife of over 58 years to Robert Joseph Thomas.
Born August 11, 1940 in Baltimore the daughter of the late Michael Joseph Dinunzio and late Rhoda Viola (Warner) Dinunzio.
Mrs. Thomas worked for 20 years as the Attendance Coordinator for Linganore High School. She was a member of Mt. Airy Full Gospel Church serving as a Sunday School Teacher and a Youth Leader. She enjoyed working with ceramics.
Surviving in addition to her husband are Children Mary and Husband Jim Berger of Silver Spring, Susan Fair and Husband Manuel Gentile of Boonsboro, Robert Thomas and Companion Frostline Ecker of Woodsboro, Loving Sister of Sharon Cavey of Mt. Airy, Carol Hunt of Parkville, Michael Dinunzio and wife Betty of Summerville, SC. Dear Grandmother of Robinson Fair, Michael Thomas and Stephanie Thomas. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by Infant Son Robert J. Thomas. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A.(Beside S. Carroll High) 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 and on Wednesday, 10 to 11 AM at Mt. Airy Full Gospel Church 13949 Penn Shop Rd. Mt. Airy, MD 21771. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016 11 AM at Mt. Airy Full Gospel with Pastor Thomas Gue officiating.
