Dorian K. “Dory” Lloyd, age 42, of Westminster, MD, died, Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his home.
Dory was born December 14, 1971 in Charlestown, West Virginia, the son of Julie Osmond Lloyd Cuyahoga Falls, OH and the late Ronald Craig Lloyd.
Dory grew up in Whiskey Bottom, MD/Laurel, MD, and then later he lived in Westminster, Glen Burnie and Ellicott City, he graduated from Atholton High School in 1989 and IBEW Local #26 Electrical Trade School; he was a successful business owner and Electrician for Lloyd Electrical Corporation. He was a great friend, father, well-liked by all; member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Sykesville, MD.
He was the husband of Brianna Beth Lloyd (nee Fitzgerald) for 12 years.
Loving father of Daisy Lloyd, Katey Lloyd and Dorian Lloyd, Jr. all of Westminster, MD; dear brother of Gordan Oliver of Sykesville, Angie Wallace of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Billy Lloyd of Kinsale, VA, Ronny Lloyd of Ellicott City, MD and the late Nancy and Dicey Lloyd; also survived by dedicated friends and in-laws Jim and Gloria Merek.
Gathering of family and friends will be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 10:00am-12:00noon with at Memorial Service at 11:00 AM with Elder Dave Petrelik officiating.
Private Interment.
