Doris Edwina Bell (nee Hennemann), age 79 of Cooksville, MD, died Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
She was born on August 29, 1936 in Baltimore, MD, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Virginia Hennemann. She is survived by her husband, Robert B. Bell. She is also survived by her three daughters Dawn Craumer and husband Don of Manchester, Gail Larkins of Clayton, NC and Cindy Bell of Westminster, her grandchildren Joseph Bell, Robert Craumer and Melissa Martin, Casey Larkins and wife Julie, Justin Craumer, Kayla King and husband Brian and Cody Craumer, and great grandchildren Stella Barnard, Brooke Craumer and Wyatt King. She is also survived by her two sisters: Imogene Stitz and Hazel Scrivener.
Doris was active in the Junior Women’s Club of Ten Hills through the mid 70’s. She was a Howard County 4-H Volunteer and Maryland All-Star.
Family and friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD (beside South Carroll High School) on Friday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM; where Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10:30 am with Rev. Arthur Monroe officiating.
Interment Poplar Springs UMC Cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD.
