Dorothy Mae (Evans) Fleming, 93 of Woodbine, passed away on July 15, 2024 at Sun Valley at the Meadows assisted living.
She was born September 11, 1930 to the late Raymond C. Evans & Marie Lindsay Evans.
She was the wife of the late Stanley Fleming who died in 1993.
She was a graduate of the class of 1947 from Mt Airy High School. She had a 46 year career
in banking at Woodbine National Bank & retired from its successor, PNC Bank in 1993. She
then worked part time at the office for Long & Foster.
She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Ringley (Gary). Grandchildren Ryan Ringley (Emily) and Kelly Ringley (fiance Andy). Great-grandchildren Conner & Ridge. Sister, Shirley Harrison. She was predeceased by sisters Rhoda Ripley, Evelyn Dayhoff, half-sister Helen Green & half-brother Wilbur Haines.
She was a member of Mt Airy 55 Plus Senior Center, Brandenburg Primetimers, Morgan Chapel Church, & former member of Mt Airy Fire Company Auxiliary.
Per her wishes, her body was donated to science to the Anatomy Board of Maryland. Services & internment will be private.
