Dorothy Pearl Hollingsworth (nee Jason), 80 of Union Bridge, MD passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Carroll County Hospital.
She was born May 22, 1939, in Carroll County, MD the daughter of the late Edward L. Jason, Sr. & the late Sophia Jason (nee Myers).
She was the spouse of Charles Hollingsworth.
Dorothy was a Nurse at Springfield State Hospital. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.
She was the loving mother of Valerie Myers & husband Jeff and Jeff Jason & wife Donna. Loving grandmother to Tyra Williams (Bright), Jason Bright, James Welch, Jordan Jason, Jarek Jason and Jesse Jason and great-grandmother to Kylie Williams and Eli Williams and sister to Lillian Nelson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 10-11 AM at which time the funeral Service will begin at 11 AM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Road Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School).
Interment to follow at Fairview UM Church Cemetery.
