Dorothy Pickett

Dorothy Louise Criswell Pickett, 91 of Woodbine, MD, died Tuesday October 6, 2009 at the Dove House in Westminster. She was the spouse of the late Francis M. Pickett, Sr. She was born September 20, 1918 in Carroll County, MD the daughter of the late Roscoe and the late Irene (Scheller) Criswell. Mrs. Criswell Pickett was a homemaker. She is Predeceased by brothers Carl and Roscoe Criswell. Surviving her are Son and Daughter-in-law Francis and Virginia Pickett of Woodbine, Daughters and Son-in-laws Jean and Eddy Condon of Woodbine, Carol and Danny Ennis of South Carolina. Sister and brother-in-law Charlotte and Casey Nix of Birmingham, AL. Grandchildren: Karen Zimmerman, Sherry Jones, Denise Naill, Kyle Ennis. 7 Great-grandchildren and several nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday October 9, 2009 10 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with Pastor Arthur Monroe of Morgan Chapel UM Church officiating. Interment in Morgan Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday October 8, 2009 4-7 PM.
