Edith Andrews

Edith (Gassner) Andrews 87 of Westminster formerly of Silver Spring MD, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Golden Living Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was the spouse of Robert Bruce Andrews. She was born June 2, 1924 in Rosebud, MI. The daughter of the late John and Laura Marie ( Henkel) Gessner. She was a Registered Nurse at Doctors Hospital, Washington, DC and the Federal Reserve Board in Washington DC. And Dr. Winschel in Silver Spring, MD. She enjoyed Reading, Gardening, Sewing and was very faithful to the Lutheran Church. She enjoyed singing together with her Four Sisters. Surviving in addition to his wife are his Children: Robert B. and wife Cheryl of Lakeland, FL, Kathy and husband Tom Schmidt of New York, NY, Sue and husband Steve Bergmann of Westminster. Sister Eloise Haubein of Lockwood, MI also Survived by numerous Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
