Edith Myers

Edith Sharpe Myers, age 82, of Winfield, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at The Carroll Hospice-Dove House, Westminster, MD. She was born May 21, 1928, Panama Canal Zone, Panama the daughter of the late Ray Sharpe and the late Marjorie Walsh Sharpe. She was a secretary for Western Electric Company. She loved reading, birds and butterflies. She was the wife of Walter Gordon Myers for 43 years. She was predeceased by a daughter Linda Ross and a sister Mary Lou Green. Surviving are 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and 3 nieces and 2 nephews. Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. David R. Bare, chaplain for Carroll Hospice, Inc. officiating. Interment Baltimore Cemetery. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
