Edna Dodd Brown (nee “Sister”Fuller), age 85, of Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville, MD, formerly of Silver Spring, MD, died Monday, September 21, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
She was born March 14, 1930 in Haleyville, Alabama the daughter of the late J. B. Fuller and the late Avo E. Fuller (nee Mink).
She began her teaching career in Double Springs, Alabama then spent most of her teaching career in the Prince George’s County Maryland School System.
She was the wife of the late Lloyd W. Brown of Silver Spring, Maryland and her prior late husband Durald Franklin “Frank” Dodd of Double Springs, Alabama.
She was the mother of Robert F. Dodd and M. Denise Curtis; loving grandmother of Brian M. and Kathryn L. Canard.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, step-mother Bernice Fuller of Haleyville, Alabama, step-brother Earl Mitchell, and brother Charles B. Fuller both of Haleyville, Alabama.
