Died Friday March 15, 2013 at Gilchrist Hospice in Columbia, MD
Beloved husband of the late Mary (Holt) Bowring
He was born February 23, 1927 in Dorchester, England the Son of the late Edward and Mabel (Baggs) Bowring.
Mr. Bowring served in the British Army from 1944 to 1947. He married his wife and then immigrated to the United States in 1952. He lived in Riverdale MD. In 1962 he moved to Upper Marlboro where they raised a family. In 1982 Ted and his Daughter built their dream horse farm in Westminster, MD He retired from the Automobile industry in 1993 and spent his retirement enjoying life with his family and his passion for horses. He was a member of Ebenezer UMC where he was a former Sunday School Teacher.
Devoted father of Garry and wife Kathy Bowring, Beverly and husband Andy Stevens,
Dearest Grandfather of Captain Dan Bowring, USMC and wife Danielle, Bryan Bowring.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 23, 2013 10:30 AM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 4911 Woodbine Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784 Interment private.
