Edward Parks

Edward W. Parks, age 65, of Westminster, passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2024. Born October 12th, 1958, he was the son of late Clarence and Evelyn Parks. He was the father of Michael and Christopher Parks. He graduated from Randallstown High School in 1976. He also attended Arundel Institute of Technology entering into the field of drafting, which led him to working for Bechtel as a draftsman. Ed also grew up working in the family business, Tangier Crab and Oyster House, with locations in Randallstown and Eldersburg. That became his lifelong career, where he then retired as sole owner of Tangier, of which he was very proud. He loved racing his ‘69 Camaro, competing in dirt bike races, and riding his Harley Davidson with his friends.

Surviving, in addition to his sons, are devoted former wife, Karen Parks, sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Robert Mannel, and sister-in-law, Patty Parks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Andrew and William Parks, and sister-in-law Sandra Parks.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday at Burrier Queen funeral home & Crematory, PA. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784, the funeral service will be held Tuesday at 12pm.Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park.
