Ellen Macdonald

Ellen Katherine Macdonald of Westminster, MD died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the age of 69. She was born on December 20, 1948 in New York City, and was the daughter of the late Aaron and Nancy Zimmerman.
She was a graduate of St. Anthony's High School in Washington, DC, and worked for C&P Telephone, and later Verizon, in Silver Spring, MD until her retirement.
Ellen was a talented crafter and also loved working in her yard, tending to her flowers, plants, and bird feeders. She was a loving, dedicated pet owner, with her two little dogs always by her side.
She will be forever remembered by her daughters, Jill Osborne and Jennifer Seitz; son-in-law Steven Seitz; former husband, Douglas Macdonald, with whom she remained life-long friends; beloved grandchildren, Mia Osborne and Aaron Seitz; sister and brother-in-law Joanne and Frank Giordano; and nieces Suzzi and Gina Giordano.
A private memorial gathering will be held in the fall for family and close friends.
