Elmer G. “Dick” Poe 86 of Sykesville.
Died Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Dove House.
He is survived by his beloved spouse of 66 years, R. June Poe.
Born December 22, 1930 in Texas, MD the son of the late Elmer A. Poe and late Alta Aretta (Howard) Poe.
Dick was a heavy equipment operator his whole life. He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter and son-in-law Constance and Jim Glanville, son and daughter-in-law G. Richard and Barb Poe, Four grandchildren, Ten great-grandchildren and One great-great grandson.
