E. Olivia “Peggy” Connolly, 94 passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at Spirt Trust Lutheran Village at Utz Terrace in Hanover, PA. She was the daughter of the late Willard and Elva Wilson.
Beloved wife of the late George R. Connolly, Sr. She was predeceased by her daughter Judith Marie Connolly. Prior to the nursing home, She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Randallstown, MD She worked as a cashier at a grocery store in Rockdale, later at an independent bakery in Woodmoor Shopping Center; then retired after 23 years as a bakery clerk for Giant Food Store in Rockdale.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law George R. Connolly, Jr. and M. JoAnn, grandson and spouse Randall and Christina Connolly, great-grandchildren Ryan and Sean Connolly, Grandson and spouse Kendall and Sarah Connolly, great-grandchildren Kendel and Declan Connolly. Also surviving is sister Virginia Marriott.
The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784, Where funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 1:00 PM. Interment Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
