Elva Wheeler Wright went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2021.
She was born January 2, 1930 in Elizabethton, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Clara Wheeler of Asheville, NC.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Jack Wheeler.
Surviving are her two sons, Michael Lathe and wife, Ruth and James Lathe and wife Candee; grandchildren, Christa Moges and husband Eyasu, Tiffany Yi and husband, James, Charlie Lathe and wife, Casey and Sean Lathe; three great grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Sureson and husband, Norman, Pearl Kilby and husband, Garry and Ginger Odum.
Elva loved to socialize and make people feel welcome.
SOCIAL DISTANCING MUST BE OBSERVED AND MASKS WORN FOR VIEWING AND FUNERAL.
The family will receive friends 9 AM to 10 AM , with funeral services 10 AM Friday, April 16, 2021 at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784 Interment Mt. Paran Cemetery, Randallstown, MD.
