Emerson Crumbacker

Emerson Lee Crumbacker, age 57, of Thurmont, formerly of New Windsor, died Thursday August 24, 2006 at home. He was born January 28, 1949 in New Windsor, MD the son of the late Woodrow Francis and Carrie Mae Scheller Crumbacker. He was a loving father and grandfather. He worked for Bob’s Welding for 24 years as a welder/mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses and spending time with family and friends. Survived by children Eric Crumbacker and wife Kelly of Great Cacapon, WV, Bradley Crumbacker and wife Crystal of Westminster, Douglas Crumbacker of Hagerstown and Krystal Gilbert and husband Yarnell of Thurmont. Brother of Woodrow Crumbacker of New Windsor, Ronnie Crumbacker and Wife Becky of Westminster, Charles Crumbacker and wife Sandy of Taneytown, and Anita Galley and husband Rick of New Windsor. Grandfather of Leann Keeney, Megan Crumbacker, Malinda Crumbacker, Eric Crumbacker, Jr., Bradley Crumbacker, Jr., Sierra Crumbacker, Brady Crumbacker and Izabella Gilbert. Also survived by many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by maternal and paternal grandparents, and brother Larry Crumbacker. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA. 1212 W. Old Liberty Road , Winfield, (Beside South Carroll High School ) on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment Sams Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Dennings.
