Passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Lorien Assisted Living, Mt. Airy, MD
She was the spouse of the late Joseph J. Foltz.
Mrs. Foltz was born May 4, 1931 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Eric Peddle, Sr. and late Irene (Johanns) Peddle,
She was a retired Medical Records Secretary for the State of MD and later on she worked in Food Services at South Carroll High School. She was a Faithful member of Winfield Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and Taylorsville-Winfield Lions Club. Mrs. Foltz earned the Melvin Jones Award for her dedication and hard work with the Lions Club.
Surviving her are Son and daughter-in-law Joe and Lisa Foltz of Street, MD , Daughter and Son-in-law Darlene and John Ely of Mt. Airy, MD Sister and Brother-in-law Alice and Allen Bruce of Kelso, WA, Grandchildren: Elizabeth and Rob Eller of Corvallis, OR , John and Nicole Ely of Eldersburg, MD Daniel and Stephanie Ely of Eldersburg, MD, Ryan Foltz and Eric Foltz both of Street, MD also survived by 6 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by Sister Sue Ramey and Brother Eric Peddle, Jr.
The family will receive friend on Friday, September 4, 2015 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784(Beside S. Carroll High School) There will be a Lions Club and Ladies Auxiliary Service at 7 PM
A Celebration of life will take place Saturday, September 5, 2015 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
