Emma Snowden

Emma I (Magers) Snowden, 94 of Mt. Airy, MD died Saturday June 21, 2008 at Carroll Hospital Center. She was the spouse of the late Gilbert Snowden. Mrs. Snowden was born September 21, 1913 in Mt. Airy, MD the daughter of the late Howard Magers and the late Evelyn I (Smith) Magers. She was a seamstress for Mt. Airy Sewing Company for 39 years, a member of Howard Chapel-Ridgeville United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing Bingo at the American Legion in Mt. Airy. Surviving her is her grandson Dale and his wife Sharon Logue of New Windsor and several other Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Shirley and husband Tommy Logue, Grandson; Wayne Logue, Brothers and Sisters: Orville Magers, Howard Magers, Etta Gartrell, Ruth Frizzell and Sylvia Beall. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday June 24, 2008 11 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt.
