Emory Burdette

Emory Warfield Burdette, Jr., 86 of Mt. Airy died, Monday May 29, 2006 at Paradise Assisted Living in Catonsville . He was born July 19, 1919 in Howard County , the son of the late Emory W. Burdette, Sr. and the late Susie Layton Burdette. He was a member of the Westminster Moose. Surviving are his five children: Betty L. Keesee & husband Rex of Catonsville, Robert E. Burdette & wife Bonnie of Mt. Grove, MO, Nancy E. Meyers of Hanover , PA , Patsy Kerrigan & husband Jeff of Catonsville, and James R. Burdette & Louise of Mt. Airy . Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren and siblings: Laura Browning of Damacus, Betty Reed of Harpers Ferry , WV , Georgette Kelley of Frederick and Jack Burdette of Frederick . Funeral Services will held on Friday June 2, 2006 at 12:00 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. H. Wallace Webster officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park , Sykesville. Friends may call at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-9 PM.
