Died Saturday July 13, 2013 at the Dove House in Westminster
He was the spouse of Phyllis (Gaede) Rodgers of Mt. Airy.
Mr. Rodgers was born March 10, 1945 in Washington, DC the son of the late Henry Rodgers and the late Sarah Mary (Tarman) Rodgers. He was a mobile operator for PEPCO for 34 years.
A Veteran of the US ARMY and a Member of American Legion Gold Star Post 191, Mt. Airy, Loved to drive, listen to Country Music and his 1965 Ford Mustang.
Surviving in addition to his wife are Brother Charles Rodgers, Children Crystal, Eric and Louise Rodgers
Step-Daughter Cindy Sinsky, Step-Son David Rex. Grandchildren Angela Colman, Christopher Sinsky, Phillip Sinsky, Becky Sinsky, April Nicole Rex, Great-grandchildren Valerie, Rachel, Katelyn, Emily and Little Kevin.
A Gathering of Friends will be held Sunday July 21, 2013 1 to 3 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784.
