Estelle Hines, 97 of Frederick, MD passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2024.
She was beloved wife of the late Paul Hines.
She was born June 27, 1927, in Washington, DC the daughter of the late Ella Estelle McChesney.
Estelle enjoyed bowling, Tap Dancing, Baking/cooking and playing the piano; and volunteered at hospitals and various other community services. She loved going to the beach and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Sherri Little and husband Tom; grandchildren Stephen Barnes and wife Angela, Scott Barnes, Ben Little and wife Chloe and Justin Barnes and wife CJ. Also survived by great-grandchildren Eden, Grant, Belle, Cameron, Nora, and JJ.
Preceded in death by her son Steve Barnes.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School)
Graveside service will be held at Lake View Memorial Park 2724 Ridge Road Sykesville, MD 21784 following the gathering at the funeral at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Frederick Health Hospice 1 Frederick Health Way Frederick MD 21701.
