Eunice Jones

Eunice Katherine Jones (nee Schmidt), age 92, of Randallstown, died Sunday February 15, 2009 at Chapel Hill Nursing Home in Randallstown. She was born September 11, 1916 in Randallstown, MD the daughter of the late Samuel Adam Schmidt and the late Virginia Dare Mettum Schmidt. She was the wife of the late Elmo L. Jones. She was a housewife. She was the oldest living member of Mt. Olive U.M. Church in Randallstown. She was Past President of Liberty Road Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was the mother of Betty L. Becker of Eldersburg, Stanley A. Jones of Randallstown, Martin L. Jones of Pine Ridge, FL formerly of Eldersburg and the late Robert L. Jones. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth McGinnis, late Eleanor Tate, late Dorothy Hohman, late June Clark, and late Sara Snyder. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Friday February 20, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Olive U.M. Church, 5115 Old Court Road, Randallstown with the Dr. Rev. Laura Lee C. Morgan officiating. Interment Mt. Olive U.M. Church Cemetery, Randallstown. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday from 7-9 PM and at Mt. Olive U.M. Church on Friday from 11:00-12:00 noon at which time service will begin.
