Evelyn Parks

Evelyn Dora Manger Parks, 80 of Eldersburg, MD, died Sunday August 9, 2009 at the Dove House in Westminster. She was the spouse of the late Clarence Cook Parks. She was born January 23, 1929 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Andrew Charles Manger, Sr. and late Edna Grace Saunders Manger. Mrs. Parks was formerly a Telephone Operator for C&P and AT&T. She was also a Co-owner and Co-Founder of the Tangier Crab House Randallstown Store. She enjoyed playing Bingo. Surviving her are her children and their spouses Jane G and Robert P. Mannel of Church Hill, TN, Andrew C and Patricia L. Parks of Westminster, William D and Sandra A. Parks of Westminster, Edward W. Parks of Eldersburg, Grandchildren: Sheryl, Karen, Sherry, Jennifer, Drew, Michael and Christopher . Also survived by 5 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by 3 brothers Andrew C. Manger, Jr, Charles E. Manger and Robert S. Manger. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, 11:30am, at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with Chaplain Dave Bare of Carroll Hospice Officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
