Evelyn Rippeon

Evelyn Mae (Horton) Rippeon, 84 of Mt. Airy, MD formerly of Cheshire, MA, died Sunday December 27, 2009 at Carroll Hospital Center. She was born January 2, 1925 in Libertytown, MD the daughter of the late Harvey Lee Horton and the late Fannie Mae (Fogle) Horton. Ms. Rippeon was a Seamstress for CB Sports in North Adams, MA. She is preceded in death by Brother Joseph Horton, Half Sisters Helen and Gladys Esworthy, Carrie Smith, Mary Grapes and Hallie Thomas. Surviving her is Sisters Ruth Metz of New Market and Dorothy Harding of Mt. Airy. Also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 31, 2009 11 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Interment will be in Union Chapel Cemetery, Libertytown, MD The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM.
