Evelyn Scarborough (Lewis), 92 of Eldersburg, MD formerly of Randallstown; died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at home.
She was born April 7, 1923 in Harford County, MD the daughter of the late Claude Lewis and the late Mary C. (Jenkins) Lewis.
She was the spouse of the late Robert Scarborough Sr.
She worked as an administrative Receptionist for the Social Security Credit Union. She was a very active member of Elders Baptist Church and the Keenagers group. She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending time with the Lord.
She is survived by her two sons Robert D. Scarborough Jr. and his wife Ana M. and Gary L. Scarborough and his wife Theresa D. Loving grandmother of Michael D. and his wife Sharon Scarborough, Rachel A. and Husband Brian Ladson, Lauren M. and husband Larry Bauer, and Hannah Scarborough. Loving nana of Matthew, Evan, Daniel, Grace and numerous nieces and nephews. She out lived all of her siblings Dean, Donald, Irene, Belle, Hubert, Nancy and Katherine.
Friends may call Tuesday, March 8 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Rd., Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 11 AM at Elders Baptist Church, 1216 Liberty Rd. Eldersburg, MD 21784 Interment Lake View Memorial Park.
