Florence Harrison

Florence “Ellen” Harrison (nee Appleby), age 82, of Woodbine, died Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
She was born December 23, 1931 in Frederick, Maryland, the daughter of the late Clarence Irvin Appleby and the late Helen Virginia McDade Appleby.
She was a homemaker and was a farmer on her own farm for many years. She also was a bus driver for over 15 years and she lived at the same place for 62 years.
She was the wife of the late John Stanley Harrison.
She was the mother of John I. Harrison and wife Sandy, Rachel E. Gladhill and husband Marty, Norma J. Gottstein and husband John, Jay S. Harrison and wife Denise and the late Virginia Elizabeth Deitz.
She was the sister of Robert Appleby and wife Mary and David Appleby and wife Janet.
Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
