Floyd Richard Horton, age 81, of Mt. Airy, MD, died Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
He was born May 3, 1943, in Maryland; the son of the late Arthur I. Horton, Sr., and the late Ida Louise Cashour Horton.
He was a Carpenter; and enjoyed yard work.
Surviving are nieces Cathy Wright and Brenda Horton both of Mt. Airy, MD., great niece Katie and husband Thomas Tigner of Mt. Airy, MD., and great great nieces and nephew Peyton, Grace and Hunter of Mt. Airy, MD.
He was predeceased by his brothers Arthur, Donald, David, George Horton, and sister Janet Horton.
PRIVATE Graveside Service and Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery (Bush Creek Cemetery), Monrovia, MD.
