Francis Jay Crawford, III, age 72, of Mobile, AL, formerly of Westminster, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama.
He was born October 24, 1940 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Francis J. Crawford II and the late Martha Hollus Crawford (nee Prugh).
He was the husband of Virginia A. Crawford (nee Olbrish).
He worked for the Federal Government as a contract employee for the US Embassy. He served in the US Air Force.
He was the father of- Linda Smith of Dallas, Texas.
Also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and Nephews.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Saturday from 10:30-11:30 AM; where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Art Monroe officiating.
Interment will be in the Crawford Farm on Sam’s Creek Road in Westminster, MD.
