Beloved husband of the late Margaret (LeRoy) James. He was born October 4, 1926 in Wooster, OH the son of the late Virgil Ray James and the late Jessie (Shelly) James
He was an engineer for Westinghouse, a veteran of the US Navy-Air, a member of Elders Baptist Church, enjoyed woodworking and volunteered with Volunteers for Medical Engineering.
Devoted father of Doris Kenney of Owings Mill, Francis James, Jr and wife Denise of TN, Grace and husband James Shaw of Millers, MD. Loving grandfather of Robby Kenney of Owings Mills, Dear brother of Theola “Dolly’ Mann, Robert James, Richard James, Evelyn Musselman. Preceded in death by sister Virginia McCarrick and brother Forest James.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2022 4 PM to 7 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, November 15, 2022 11 AM at Elders Baptist Church, 1216 Liberty Rd. Eldersburg,MD 21784 with viewing one hour prior.
