Francis Earl Lowe, age 70, of Taylorsville, died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
He was born June 9, 1942 in Westminster, MD the son of the late C. William Lowe and the late Bessie Barber Lowe.
He was the husband of Janet Moore Lowe of 50 years.
Before retiring he worked as a mechanic/Truck Driver for Fogles Septic.
Survived by Children; Kathy Poma and husband Max of Eldersburg, Doug Lowe of Taylorsville, Kelly Drechsler and husband Randy of Taylorsville, Kristine Swann and husband Rob of Sykesville, and Kimberly Moore and Fiance Elliott Sterner of Hanover, PA.; siblings- Raymond Lowe of Hagerstown, Roy Lowe of Hanover, PA, Edna Mae Hitt of Littlestown, Rose Marie Long of Westminster, Mary Katherine Devilbiss of Taneytown and Darlene Lowe, also survived by Special Aunt Bessie Barber, cousin Rosalee Frizzell & Family and Brother in law Larry Moore.; and grandchildren- Stephanie Sekulski and husband Kain, Heather Lowe, Chelsea Warner, Sara Swann, Brady Drechsler, Christopher Moore, and Emily Crusenberry.
Predeceased by Grandson Thomas Allen Holmes, Brother Edward Lowe and Uncle Monroe Barber.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9PM; where a funeral service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating.
Interment will be in Taylorsville U.M. Church Cemetery, Taylorsville, MD
