Frank Grimes

Frank G. “Smokey” Grimes, Sr., age 80, of Taylorsville, died Sunday March 11, 2007 at Carroll Hospital Center , Westminster , MD. He was born September 10, 1926 in Carroll County , MD the son of the late William Dorsey Grimes and the late Ella May Pickett Grimes. He was a plumber for WRF & Son Co. which he was still working up until his death. He was a member of Holy Family R.C. Church in Randallstown . He was the husband of the late Teresa Marie Grimes (Nickoles). He was the father of Frank G. & Gaye Grimes, Jr. of Taylorsville, Joe and Becky Grimes of Taylorsville and Buddy and Pam Grimes of Taylorsville. He was the brother of Arthur Grimes of Mardela Springs, MD, Ernest Grimes of Finksburg, Grace Rice of Silver Run, Effie Fisher of Taylorsville and the late Charles Grimes, late Harold Grimes, late Roy Grimes, late Walter Grimes and late Ethel Holland. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Liturgy (MASS) will be held Thursday March 15, 2007 at 9:00 AM at Holy Family R.C. Church 9533 Liberty Road Randallstown with the Fr. Walter McGovern officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park , Sykesville. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old Liberty Road , Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 PM.
