Frederick Grasso

Frederick "Freddie" Alfonso Grasso, 90, of Marriottsville, MD, passed away Saturday September 4, 2021. He was born in 1931 in Washington, D.C. to the late Anthony John Grasso and Florence Margaret Grasso (Heinemann). He was preceded in death by his brothers Arthur, John, and sisters Violet, Flora, Gloria, and Clorinda.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Grasso (Skasko) and four sons, Mark of Marriottsville, MD, Kevin of Woodstock, MD, Barry and wife Joan of Sykesville, MD, Brian of Sykesville, MD, five grandchildren, Kevin, Ryan, Ashley, Samantha, Alex, and two great-grandchildren, Brody, and Easton. He is also survived by sisters Marie Shannon of Columbia, MD, Betty Grasso of Laurel, MD, and brother Richard Grasso of Berlin, MD.
Fred was a skilled brick mason and construction foreman. He had a work ethic that was second to none. He worked many years for Litterio and George Hyman. He was a sports and horse racing enthusiast. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren's sporting events. He loved his wife, sons, and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time in the gym at the South Carroll Senior Center.
