Gary Lillard

Gary T. Lillard, age 71, of Sykesville, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at his home.
Born November 24th, 1952, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Ernest R. and Margret E. Lillard. Gary served his country in the National Guard from 1972 - 1980. During Gary’s 40-year career as a plumber, he helped build countless homes in Carroll County. Gary was an avid racing fan and relished in his time camping with his late wife Krista. Gary is fondly remembered by his family and many friends.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Jon) Phelps of Hagerstown, his son, Matthew (Paula) Lillard of Leonardtown, his brother James (Sharon) Lillard of Frederick, and three grandchildren, Garret Phelps, Regan Lillard, and Riley Lillard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Krista Lillard, his parents, and his grandchild, Joshua Phelps.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
