Geoffrey Alan Brittingham, 41, of Hampstead MD, passed away suddenly on May 31,2024.
He was born on October 1, 1982, to Brenda (Johnston) Brittingham and Carl Brittingham III, in Baltimore, MD.
Geoffrey played golf since he was 5 years old. He was the #2 golfer for Franklin High School, achieving numerous awards. Geoffrey graduated with a degree in Turf Grass Management from the University of Maryland. His professional career consisted of working for several organizations including The Woodlands Golf Course, Pro Grass Lawn Care, and Howard County Public Schools.
Preceded in death by his mother Brenda Brittingham,
Geoffrey was survived by his loving wife Shannon (Dailey) Brittingham, son Brendan Brittingham, Father Carl Brittingham III, older brother Brian (Shannon) Brittingham, niece Taylor Brittingham, in-laws, sister-in-law, cousins, and many aunts and uncles.
Geoffrey was devoted to his family. He loved watching his son play baseball and taking his family to Oriole games. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing with his brother, and time spent at the beach.
A gathering will be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday June 10, 2024, from 5pm-7pm with a service to follow. A Celebration of Life event is to be determined.
