George Sauter

George Washington Sauter, 90 of Westminster formerly of Woodlawn, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday September 29, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Baltimore County, MD on March 31, 1927, the son of the late A. Maurice Sauter and the late Edith Mae Gettier Sauter.
He was the spouse of the late Myrtle Elizabeth Sauter (nee Arndt).
Mr. Sauter worked as a Farmer; then worked for Cloverland Diary, then worked at General Electric. He retired as a Farmer in Carroll County after 25 years.
Surviving are Daughter Nancy Scherr of Baltimore, Daughter Peggy Wilson of Charlotte, NC. Son George W. Sauter of Westminster, Daughter Susan Jackson of Thornton, CO. Also survived by 10 grandchildren Michelle, David, Kristin, Katie, Christopher, Kaylie, Shyla, David, Mary, and Beka and 9 great-grandchildren Eva, Linley, Wyatt, Garrett, Kinsey, Emma, Grace, Ruben and Carson. .
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. (Beside South Carroll High School).
A Funeral Mass will be said at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. John’s Catholic Church 43 Monroe St. Westminster, MD 21157. Interment to follow at Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville, MD. Online Condolences at www.burrier-queen.com.
