Gilbert Cullins Mayne, Sr., 86 of Mt. Airy, MD died Sunday, January 7, 2018.
Beloved husband of the late Betty Louise (nee Frizzell) Mayne.
He was born November 15, 1931 in Florence, MD, the son of the late William & Mary Elizabeth (Shipley) Mayne.
Mr. Mayne was a Dairy Farmer; and loved wildlife, Farming and horse racing. He was a member of Watersville United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughter Brenda & Jerry Colliflower of Frederick, son Douglas & Jackie Mayne of Charlestown, WV, and Martin Mayne & companion Sherry Bowers of Mt. Airy, and the late Gilbert Mayne, Jr. the loving brother of Joseph & Betty Mayne of Mt. Airy, and Maryetta & Ed Bailey of Florence. Also survived by several grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren.
The Family will receive friends on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). Where funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10 AM.
Interment Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery.
