Gilbert Mayne

Gilbert C. Mayne, Jr., age 51, of Mt. Airy , died Monday April 2, 2007 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD. He was born March 6, 1956 in Montgomery County , MD the son of Gilbert C. Mayne, Sr. of Mt. Airy and the late Betty Louise Mayne (nee Frizzell). He was a front end Loader/excavator construction worker. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing and watching the ponies and listening to Gospel Music. He was the father of Wendy M. Mayne of Winchester , VA , and Gilbert C. Mayne III of Winchester , VA. Brother of Brenda Colliflower of Frederick , Douglas Mayne of Charlestown , Wes Virginia and Martin A. Mayne of Mt. Airy. Also survived by 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held Friday April 6, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road , Winfield , MD (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. Wallace “Bud” Lusk officiating. Interment Prospect U.M. Church Cemetery , Mt. Airy, MD. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W.
