Gladys Shaible

Gladys L. (Michel) Schaible , 93 of Mount Airy, MD, died Saturday April 4, 2009 at her home in Mt. Airy, MD. She was the spouse of the late Edward Lee Schaible who precede her in death in March of 1985. She was born November 25, 1915 in Baltimore City, MD. The daughter of the late Henry Frederick Michel, Sr. and late Theresa Downey Michel. She was a homemaker a Past Worthy Matron and member of The Mt. Airy Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 95. A member of Calvary Lutheran Church Mt. Airy, MD. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Edward Henry and Betty Jane Schaible of Mt. Airy, MD. Brother Henry F. Michel of Florida. 3 Granddaughters: Sandra L. Martin of Taylorsville, Debra L. Epley of Rockville and Pamela A. Harding of Mt. Airy. 7 Great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren Preceded in death by Sister Thelma G. Hillary. Also survived by 3 nieces and 2 nephews. Graveside Services will be held 11:00am on Tuesday April 7, 2009 at Prospect UM Church Cemetery 5923 Woodville Rd Mt. Airy, MD.
