Passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Carroll Hospital Center
Beloved wife of over 52 years to John Shipley Barnes.
Mrs. Barnes was born October 2, 1943 in Hanover, PA the daughter of the late Gordon E. and late Mary Ellen (Blauvelt) Haines.
She was a homemaker and lived and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a longtime member of the XI Alpha XI Sorority. The O.W.L.S. who meet at Ebenezer UMC, and St. John’s Lutheran Church of Westminster.
Devoted mother of Darren M. Barnes and companion Jen Moxley of Westminster, Cindy T. and husband Patrick L. Barnes of Finksburg. Loving grandmother of Abby E. and husband Luke D. Ebaugh, Jessica L., Taylor L., Mitchell J. and Emilee F. Barnes. Also survived by former daughter-in-law Laura J. Barnes.
