Gloria Lynn Shipe, 65 of New Windsor, MD passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 surrounded by her family at the BridgingLife Dove House.
She was the beloved wife of John Shipe, who had been married for 24 years.
Born August 28, 1957, in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Elizabeth Eckles and the late James Shiflett.
Gloria was a retired business owner, who was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to go to the Casino, fishing, and shopping.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Joseph, Shawn, Shannon, Ashley, Jessica, Amelia, and JB. Loving grandmother of Megan, Ambriahl, Sarah, Jacob, Kyrstin, Leah, Caden, Kiyle, Riyle, Johnathan, Shawn Jr., Jordyn, and Jade. Devoted great-grandmother of Jai, Cade, Jaxon, Braxton, and Cayson. Also survived by her mother-in-law Carole Moore and her children’s and grandchildren’s spouses, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). Where Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 11 AM.
Interment to follow at Lake View Memorial Park.
