Grace B. Arrington Harrison 91 of Frederick formerly of Mt. Airy, MD
Passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation.
She was born January 12, 1925 in Mt. Airy, MD the daughter of the late John Henry Brown and the late Edna M. Rippeon Brown.
She retired in 1991 as Cafeteria Manager of Mt. Airy Elementary after 39 years. Ms. Harrison earned her teacher’s certification in 1971, was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and loved to bake wedding and birthday cakes.
Survived by Daughter Joyce Clements of Frederick, Daughter and Son-in-law Carol and James “Pete” Bowlus of Mt. Airy. Sister Dorothy Wagner of Frederick and Sister-in-law L. Ann Brown. Grandchildren Scott and Bryan Clements and David and Kelly Bowlus, Great-grandchildren Eileen, Abbey and Olivia, Great-great grandchildren Penelope and Gus
Predeceased by brother John Brown and sister Esther Brown.
A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 12 noon in BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY’S MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784
