Hamilton P. “Hambone” Snowden, age 82, of Sykesville, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
He was born May 26, 1933 in Sykesville, MD, the son of the late Preston “Sonny” Snowden and the late Mary T. Snowden (nee Milligan).
He was the husband of Estelle E. Snowden (nee Lowman).
He worked for Springfield State Hospital in the Maintenance Department for over 30 years. He was a member of Earth Wheels and Fire Motorcycle Club of Frederick, MD. He enjoyed hunting and mechanical work. He also served in the US Army.
He was the brother of the late Harry Snowden and the late Betty Purcell.
Surviving are sister in law Martha Cook; several nieces, nephews, cousins and host of family and friends.

Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 6-8 PM; where Funeral Service will be held Wednesday February 3, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home with Pastor Douglas Sands of White Rock Independent Episcopal Church in Sykesville Officiating.
