Harold Leroy “Winks” Riggleman
October 1, 1943 – April 5, 2024
On Friday, April 5, 2024, Harold “Winks” Riggleman went home to be with the Lord. Harold graduated from Damascus High School in 1964. He worked for Kemp Brothers and at Boyer & Crammer in Damascus for many years. He also worked as a painter at NIH and in business for himself. Harold was a semi-pro bowler, loved fast cars, horses, the Steelers, and his dogs; but mostly he loved his kids and grandkids.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph Riggleman and Edna Rebecca Shipley Riggleman, and his sister Rosalie Harrison. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Jeannette Riggleman; sister, Virginia Turpin; brother, John “Bill” Riggleman; daughter, Kimberley Brown (husband Gary); stepchildren, Jean Faulkner (husband Pat), Rhonda Poland (husband Bobby), Randy Garland (wife Christy); and 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great, great granddaughter.
Condolences and expressions of sympathy should be sent to Vivian Riggleman 511 Old Baltimore Road, Westminster, MD 21157. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601, or your favorite animal rescue organization.
