Harold Smith

Harold Richard Smith, Jr., 74 of Norfolk, VA formerly of Bayonne, NJ passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Loch Raven VA Medical Center in Maryland.
He was born May 2, 1946 in Bayonne, NJ the son of the late Harold R. Smith, Sr., and the late Dorothy V. Smith (nee Feilitzsch).
Harold retired from the United States Navy after 24 years. He was involved in AA and he enjoyed going fishing.
Harold is survived by his sister Doreen Nevin, his stepsister Kathy Joniak and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Douglas Smith.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at G Keenen O'Brien Funeral Home 984 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002. Social distancing and mask are required at the funeral home.
The Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 2-6 PM at Holloman-Brown Funeral home Tidewater Drive Chapel 8464 Tidewater Drive Norfolk, VA 23518. Social Distancing and mask are required at the funeral home.
Interment at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association National Direct Response Headquarters PO Box 756 Osceola WI 54020-0756.
