Harry James “Jim” Steinhice, Jr. 77 of Sykesville,
Died peacefully Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Sinai Hospital.
He was the loving spouse, 58 years, of JacLyn E. (Stroh) Steinhice.
He was born September 21, 1937 in Baltimore, MD the Son of the late Harry James Steinhice, Sr. and the late Laura “Virginia” (Cavey) Steinhice.
Mr. Steinhice retired from Westinghouse after 41 years where he served as a Production Manager. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and volunteering his time to help others.
Surviving in addition to his wife are Mother-in-law Elizabeth Stroh, Children; Sharon and husband Bill Franklin, Karen Steinhice, Mary Lisa Steinhice, Michael Steinhice, Jaclyn and husband Tom Harmon, Kevin and wife Dottie Steinhice. Sisters; Joan Murphy and Arline Hall. 17 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by Son Harry James “Jimmy” Steinhice, III and Brother Joseph Steinhice.
The family will receive friends on Thursday 7 to 9 PM and Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM with prayers being said at 8 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. A Funeral Mass will be said on Saturday March 21, 2015 11:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Rd. Eldersburg, MD 21784. Interment Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
