Haydee De Migoya

Haydee Calderon de Migoya, 94 years old of Mt. Airy, Maryland died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Pleasant View Nursing Home of Mt. Airy. She passed surrounded by her daughters Soiree, Telma, and Josefina and her granddaughters Koryne and Natalie. She was born August 18, 1920 in Nebaj, Quiche of Guatemala. She is the daughter of Jose Nicolas Calderon and Blanca Rosa Palacios. She married Francisco Horacio Migoya Bourdeth June 29, 1946. She was predeceased by her brother Jose Rene Calderon Palacios who died September 12, 2007 and her sister Brunilda Eugenia Calderon Palacios who died January 25, 2014. She was a homemaker, she loved to crochet and to sew pretty dresses for her daughters. She served in the Washington DC Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for many years. Surviving are her seven children: Blanca Soiree Deniker (and husband Gary Deniker), Francisco Migoya (and wife Alma Gracias), Consuelo de Alfaro (and husband Armando Alfaro), Violeta Bonilla (and husband Ariel Bonilla), Nicolas Migoya (and wife Gloria Palma), Telma Migoya, and Josefina Guerra (and husband Oscar Guerra). She leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
