Hazel Raiman

Hazel May McCabe Raiman, 85 of Finksburg, died Monday June 7, 2010, at the Dove House in Westminster. She was the spouse of the late Elmer K. Raiman. Born July 17, 1924 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late James Fred McCabe and Hazel May Sanner McCabe.she was a member of Elders Baptist Church. A Charter Member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Gamber. She was greatly involved in her church as a pioneer in Baptist work here in Carroll County. She was active at the Associational and State levels of Leadership for the Southern Baptist Convention. She was a devoted Wife and Mother and very self sacrificing. Surviving are Daughters Shawnee Huff, Pawness Camp and Cherokee Ryan and their spouses, Grandchildren: Ken, Tim, Dakota, and Faith; Great-grandchildren Gabriel, Desmond, Lily, Elias and Emily. Also survived by sister Marie Jacobs. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 11, 2010 11AM at Elders Baptist Church, 1216 Liberty Rd Eldersburg, MD 21784 Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Gamber, MD. The family will receive friends on Thursday 2-4 and 6 to 8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Memorial contributions may be made to Elders Baptist Building fund or the Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave. Westminster, MD 21157.
