Helen Farver

Helen Marie Farver (nee Devilbiss), age 83, of Mt. Airy, died Monday, July 30, 2012 at Carroll Hospice-Dove House in Westminster, MD. She was born March 29, 1929 in Maryland, the daughter of the late Robert P. Devilbiss and the late Marie Agnes Nickoles Devilbiss. She was a housewife. She was a member of St. John R.C. Church in Westminster. She enjoyed visiting the Amish country in Lancaster, PA., and enjoyed dancing and country music. She was the loving wife of Carl C. Farver of Mt. Airy for 60 years. She was the devoted mother of Robert Farver and wife Tammy of Westminster. She was the dear sister of the late Kenneth Devilbiss. She was the loving grandmother of RJ and Mark Farver and Matthew and Morgan Alder. Also survived by sister in laws Ruth Gosnell and Ethel Farver. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (beside South Carroll High School) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM; where a Catholic Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA with Deacon Don Miller of St. John R.C.
